We are currently recruiting for an experienced Sub Agent to work on a marine civils project. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established civil engineering contractor delivering complex marine and coastal infrastructure works.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Supporting the Site Agent in the day-to-day management of marine civils works
* Coordinating site activities to ensure works are delivered in line with programme and specification
* Managing subcontractors and direct labour on site
* Assisting with short-term planning, method statements, and risk assessments
* Ensuring works are carried out safely and in line with HSEQ requirements
* Monitoring progress, quality, and productivity on site
* Liaising with engineers, commercial team, and project management
* Managing site records, permits, and daily reporting
* Assisting with resolving technical and construction issues as they arise
Requirements:
* Previous experience working as a Sub Agent or Section Engineer on civil engineering projects
* Strong background in marine civils, marine infrastructure, or coastal works preferred
* Good understanding of site management, sequencing, and temporary works
* Valid SMSTS
* Valid CSCS card
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
