My client is a well-recognised Education Provider who due to continued expansion are looking for an experienced Compliance Manager to join their Operations team. You will be responsible for ensuring the school meets and exceeds industry legislative requirements, working with senior colleagues across multiple departments to advise and support them in adhering to this. You will be involved in policy development, quality assurance and document management across the school. If you are an experienced Compliance Manager / Head of Compliance / Senior Compliance Officer / Compliance Officer / Compliance Lead with strong knowledge of Data Protection and the ability to pick up and interpret new legislation this opportunity is not to be missed!


Maintain up to date knowledge of applicable legislation and regulations affecting the sector
Develop, implement, maintain and update policies and procedures
Create and maintain a schedule for policy reviews/updates/archiving etc
Working with the senior management team to ensure they are kept up to date with any relevant changes in guidance and legislation around data protection, health & safety, welfare, HR, finance, visas/immigration, governance etc
Gather and maintain key documents and records for the school
Conduct regular audits
Provide expert advise to staff on data protection
Co-ordinate responses to subject access requests
Work closely with the Head of IT on cyber security
Ensuring documentation is prepared for external audits and inspectionsTHE PERSON:

Experience in a similar Compliance Manager / Head of Compliance / Compliance Officer role is essential
Excellent knowledge of Data Protection legislation
Confident to interpret new industry legislation
Able to work with senior colleagues across multiple departments
Experience in the education sector is desirable BENEFITS:

Basic salary up to £45,000
