Location: Bristol

Contract Type: Temporary/Locum

Rate: £45 - £55ph

• Private Client Lawyer requirement on a Locum basis.
• To start in circa April 2026 for a few months or so.
• Assisting predominantly with problem files and complex IHT relief applications.
• Can work fully remotely for this role, or on site if preferred.
• Part time hours circa 3 days per week and flexible working hours.

Our client, a long standing high street law firm in the Bristol area, is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor/Lawyer for a Locum position. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled legal professional to work flexibly and remotely, handling complex probate work and handling problem files.

Position Overview

The Private Client Solicitor will have experience in a range of private client work but specifically be good at problem solving historic cases and handling complex probate/administration of estates cases.

Requirements

• Fee earner with minimum 5 years' PQE in Private Client matters (could be Solicitor or Legal Executive, or otherwise qualified by experience).
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
• Available circa April 2026 on a part time basis.
