About the Role
We are seeking a Registered Manager to oversee a 3-bed children's residential home, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for young people. This role offers the opportunity to lead a committed team, implement high-quality care practices, and ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Train under the existing Registered Manager to familiarise yourself with the home, staff, and children.
- Lead and manage the home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and maintaining the highest care standards.
- Oversee all safeguarding responsibilities to ensure the safety and well-being of children.
- Develop and implement individualised care plans that support each child's growth and development.
- Inspire, mentor, and develop your team to promote a therapeutic, child-centered approach.
- Ensure the home operates effectively, managing budgets and policies in line with legislation.
Requirements- At least 2 years' experience as a Registered or Deputy Manager in an Ofsted-registered children's residential home.
- NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or willingness to work towards it).
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for therapeutic care.
- Thorough understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and Ofsted standards.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
