HSL Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Laser Operator / CNC Laser Operator to join an award-winning sheet metal manufacturing company based in Nuneaton.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established, family-run engineering business that specialises in high-quality laser cutting and fabrication services using state-of-the-art equipment.

If you have experience operating laser cutting machines, CNC machines, or working within a sheet metal / engineering environment, we would love to hear from you.

You will work a weekly rotating shift pattern (40 hours per week):

Morning Shift

* 6:00am - 2:30pm

Afternoon Shift

* 2:00pm - 10:30pm

Night Shift

* 10:00pm - 6:30am

As a Laser Machine Operator, your duties will include:

* Setting and operating CNC laser cutting machines

* Operating 2-Axis and Flatbed Laser Machines

* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

* Performing basic machine maintenance and cleaning each shift

* Carrying out final inspection of components

* Packaging finished parts ready for dispatch

* Maintaining quality and safety standards

To be considered for this Laser Operator / CNC Laser Operator role, you should have:

* Previous experience operating laser cutting machines or CNC machines

* A background in engineering, manufacturing, or sheet metal fabrication

* Ability to read engineering drawings

* Strong attention to detail and quality standards

Desirable (but not essential):

* Trumpf Laser Operator experience

* Forklift licence

Training may be provided for the right candidate with the relevant manufacturing or engineering background.
