Are you a passionate and experienced Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) looking to make a real difference in a primary school setting? We are seeking a dedicated SENCO to join our supportive team, leading SEND provision and ensuring all pupils receive the tailored support they need to thrive.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a welcoming and structured school environment where your expertise will directly impact pupils' learning and progress.

The Role:

As SENCO, you will lead and oversee SEND provision across the school, working closely with teachers, teaching assistants, and families to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment. You will ensure that all pupils' needs are identified, assessed, and met effectively.

Your Responsibilities:

✨ Coordinating and managing SEND provision across the school
✨ Supporting teachers with planning and adapting lessons to meet individual needs
✨ Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, providing actionable feedback
✨ Collaborating with parents, external agencies, and support staff to deliver effective interventions
✨ Promoting a positive, inclusive, and nurturing school environment

What We're Looking For:

✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
✔ Proven experience as a SENCO or in a similar SEND leadership role
✔ Strong knowledge of SEND frameworks and statutory requirements
✔ Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills
✔ A compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
