Waking Night Support Worker - Children's Residential Home (SLD)
Location: Wolverhampton
Salary: £13.30 per hour | 35 hours per week | Waking Nights Only

We are recruiting on behalf of an established and growing care provider who are opening a new children's home in Wolverhampton. The home is registered for up to 10 children with Severe Learning Disabilities (SLD) and has been designed to provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment. Facilities include on-site education, a dedicated clinical team, sensory rooms, and beautiful landscaped grounds.

As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will ensure the safety, comfort and wellbeing of children overnight. You'll provide calm and consistent support, respond to any needs that arise during the night, and help create a safe and secure environment for the children to rest and thrive.

Requirements:

Previous experience in children's residential care or supporting individuals with SLD, autism, or additional needs is desirable

*

A caring and resilient nature with the ability to remain calm under pressure

Willingness to work permanent waking nights

*

Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential
