We are currently working with a leading Landscaping business who have a portfolio of large planting schemes for varying house builders, POS, play areas and refurbishment, car park soft landscaping, heritage works and soft works schemes across the Midlands and South West.

Your new role
You will be working as a Contracts Manager completing the following tasks and duties:

Have a positive, pro-active approach with a high standard of customer service
To manage all contracts under your control in a profitable manner
To work closely with the MD to ensure both tendered margins and delivered margins meet expectations
To employ, lead, support and motivate supervisors and operatives to establish strong operating teams across the division, conducting yourself always in a polite and professional manner.

To develop strong, long-term relationships with clients, QSs, Contract Administrators and suppliers.
To maintain the company values and their approach to contracting, implementing agreed business plan strategies.

Enthusiastic, positive and a team player attitude
To ensure that company Health & Safety procedures are applied, keeping the Managing Director advised of any significant issues.

To keep Managing Director informed of significant operational issues as they arise.What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you should have a tenure in the construction Landscaping industry. Evidence of experience and references will be requested following the interview process. You must be experienced in building hard landscaping and soft Landscaping features to a high quality. The successful applicant will be able to successfully manage multiple teams of Landscapers, the sites they are working on and be able to form good day to day working relationships with clients.

In addition, you will need:

CSCS (required), SSSTS (desirable), SMSTS (desirable)
NEBOSH/IOSH (desirable)
Full driving licence (essential)
