FLT Driver / Yard Operative - Middlesbrough

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Pay: £12.21 - £13.50 per hour (depending on experience)

About the Role

We're currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver / Yard Operative to join a busy and growing team based in Middlesbrough. This is a hands-on, varied role suitable for someone who is confident working both in the yard and occasionally in the warehouse or workshop.

Key Duties:

Operating a Counterbalance FLT to move materials, stock, and equipment

*

General yard duties including loading/unloading, tidying, and organising materials

*

Assisting with deliveries and stock movement

*

Supporting the team with basic maintenance and manual handling tasks

*

Ensuring all health & safety practices are followed on site

Requirements:

*

Valid FLT Counterbalance licence (RTITB or ITSSAR accredited)

*

Previous experience in a yard or warehouse environment

*

Comfortable working outdoors in all weather

*

Good communication and teamwork skills

*

Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
