Salary: £24000 - £27000/annum

Our client is a highly creative Marketing Agency based in Dorset.

They are looking for an experienced Senior Account Executive to join their small, friendly team.

The successful candidate will ideally have a minimum of 3 years' experience in the proactive delivery of marketing activities for SMEs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to step up from an Executive position or looking to develop to a management role within a successful agency that deeply cares about its staff and clients.

About the job:

Client management -

* Maintaining and enhancing relationships with existing clients

* Communicating with clients, keeping them up to date on the progress of their tasks and results of campaigns

* Supporting the effective delivery of day-to-day projects/campaigns

* Ensure projects are managed effectively and completed on time, within budget and in line with strategies outlined in proposals/retainer agreements

* Work closely with members of the team (inc sub contractors) to create work of a suitably high standard

* Support the creation of monthly client reports to effectively communicate the activities that are completed and the results being achieved.

* Support the process of creating proposals, completing new business pitches and formulated marketing plans

Digital marketing activities -

The work is varied and covers an array of channels

* Planning and executing certain SEO activities such as article planning/creation and on-page optimisation

* Creating engaging internet friendly content, which could include social media posts, keyword optimised articles, static web pages

* Keyword research and competitor analysis reports

* Assistance in social media strategy and implementation

* Email campaign creation and management

* Support in the management of graphic design / branding projects

* Analysing campaign performance and making adjustments accordingly

Knowledge, skills and Experience:

* Min 3 years experience in an agency environment or within an in-house marketing role is essential

* You should have proven knowledge and experience of various digital marketing activities

* Ideally comfortable with using software such as Canva, Mailchimp, Photoshop, InDesign etc (preferable)

* High attention to detail - excellent proofreading, spelling and grammar

* Confident in meetings and liaising with clients

* Excellent client communication skills, verbal and written

* Strong organisation and time management skills

* Passionate about digital marketing and stay up to date with industry and platform developments

* You'll have a relentless, can-do attitude and a drive to roll your sleeves up, get stuck in, learn, and grow

This role is offered as a permanent full time or part time position (around 25 hrs per week). Fairly flexible on how this is done eg. 3 full days, 5 shorter days etc.
