Overview An established and internationally connected engineering business is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Warehouse and Inventory Operative to join their team. This is a key role within a dynamic and collaborative environment, ideal for someone with a strong background in inventory control and warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities - Manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods using a modern ERP system (training provided).
- Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure inventory records are consistently up to date.
- Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure timely order fulfilment.
- Oversee and support the assembly and testing of mechanical components (basic mechanical knowledge required).
- Ensure the warehouse and shop floor are kept clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards.
Skills & Experience - Minimum 5 years’ experience in a warehouse or inventory control role.
- Proficient in using stock control systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Valid forklift licence is essential.
