The role

As The London Clinic approaches its centenary as a leading healthcare charity, we are entering a period of significant momentum, investment, and renewed focus on philanthropy as a core part of our organisational strategy.

With growing ambition and deepening collaboration with Northwestern Medicine, our philanthropy programme is evolving rapidly. This a season of transformation and an exciting time to join an organisation that is scaling its impact.

The Head of Philanthropy Operations will play a central role in shaping and delivering this next phase. This position offers both strategic and hands-on leadership, with responsibility for building the operational infrastructure, governance, and processes that underpin a high-performing fundraising function within a complex healthcare environment.

Working closely with the Director of Philanthropy and senior stakeholders, you will translate ambition into action, strengthening systems and infrastructure, enhancing gift management and reporting, and helping to embed a culture of philanthropy across the organisation.

This role will suit an action-oriented individual: highly organised, tenacious, and comfortable operating in a fast-evolving environment. You will be someone who takes ownership, brings clarity to complexity, and follows through to delivery. You will bring experience from within the fundraising sector, alongside a strong understanding of the operational foundations required to support successful philanthropic programmes.
