The role:

As Accounts Manager, you'll be responsible for leading a busy accounts team, managing client relationships, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial services. Your responsibilities will include:

Supervising and mentoring junior team members

*

Reviewing financial statements and working papers for accuracy

*

Managing team workloads and running weekly update meetings

*

Acting as a key contact for clients, building strong and lasting relationships

*

Monitoring budgets and ensuring efficient delivery of work

*

Staying up to date with financial reporting standards and best practices

*

Identifying opportunities to support business growth

What we're looking for:

*

ACA/ACCA qualified with at least 3-5 years' post-qualified experience

*

Strong background in accounts preparation within a UK practice environment

*

Solid knowledge of UK accounting standards

*

Confident using software such as TaxCalc, Xero, QuickBooks, Sage and Excel

*

A proactive mindset with excellent communication skills

*

Ability to lead a team and manage competing priorities

*

Commercial awareness and a passion for delivering top-tier service
