Dedicated Religious Education Teacher Wanted in Hillingdon! Reflective Secondary School Location: Hillingdon Role: Religious Education Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent)

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver engaging and thought-provoking Religious Education lessons across Key Stages 3-4, and potentially A-Level, encouraging reflective thinking about religious, ethical, and personal beliefs.

* Inspire students to develop their own reflective capacities and to engage in introspection about the topics explored.

* Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance the RE curriculum, promoting reflective learning and personal development.

* Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Religious Education, with a focus on the depth of their reflection.

* Foster a classroom environment that encourages quiet contemplation, personal inquiry, and the articulation of reflective insights.

Qualifications & Experience:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

* Degree in Theology, Religious Studies, Philosophy, Psychology, or a related field with an emphasis on personal reflection or spirituality.

* Proven experience teaching Religious Education at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply).

* Strong subject knowledge across a range of religious and ethical traditions, with an appreciation for reflective practices.

* Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to facilitate reflective discussions and activities.

* A commitment to fostering a reflective and introspective learning environment within a supportive setting.
