We are seeking a passionate and committed Year 3 Class Teacher to join our friendly and inclusive primary school community in Northampton from September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity ideal for a skilled educator who is ready to nurture, inspire, and challenge pupils as they take their first steps into Key Stage 2.

About the Role

As our Year 3 Class Teacher, you will guide pupils through a critical stage of their learning journey as they transition into Key Stage 2. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, creating a vibrant and engaging classroom environment, and supporting each child to make excellent progress.

You will work alongside a dedicated team of teachers and support staff, with access to strong planning systems and a collaborative, professional culture.

We welcome applications from experienced teachers as well as Early Career Teachers (ECTs). A full induction and mentoring programme is in place for ECTs.

What We're Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience in KS2, ideally Year 3, or a strong interest in teaching this stage

A clear understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and assessment approaches

*

Creative and reflective teaching practice, focused on meeting the needs of all learners

*

Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

*

A positive, proactive attitude and commitment to teamwork

*

A strong belief in the potential of every child

*

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
