We are recruiting English Teachers (QTS) for high-performing secondary schools across the Lancaster and Morecambe district. Whether you are looking for the stability of a Full-Time position or the flexibility of Part-Time hours, we have placements starting immediately and for the upcoming terms in 2026.

• Daily Rate:£130 - £180 per day (Dependant on experience).

• Payment Method:Direct PAYE - No umbrella company fees or hidden deductions.

• Flexibility:Full-Time (5 days/week) or Part-Time (2-4 days/week) contracts available.

• Deliver high-quality English Language and Literature lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.

• Plan, prepare, and assess student work, ensuring progress aligns with the latest 2026 GCSE assessment criteria.

• Foster a passion for literacy, oracy, and critical analysis within a diverse classroom setting.

• Collaborate with experienced English departments to share resources and best practices.

• Maintain excellent classroom management and uphold the individual behavioral policies of our partner schools.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS is mandatory for this role.

• A strong academic background with a degree in English or a related field.

• Proven experience teaching the UK National Curriculum in a secondary school environment.

• The ability to differentiate lessons to support students of all abilities, including those with SEND.

• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to process a new one).
