This is an exciting opportunity for an HR Advisor to support the Human Resources team within the retail industry. Based in Liverpool, this fixed-term contract role focuses on delivering efficient HR services and providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.

Description

Provide clear, practical HR advice to managers on employee relations matters, assessing risk and ensuring appropriate outcomes
Manage a varied caseload, with a focus on long- and short-term absence, disciplinary, and grievance cases
Support senior management with Early Conciliation and Employment Tribunal cases, ensuring compliance with company policy, employment law, and best practice
Coach and guide managers through telephone, email, and face-to-face interactions
Build and maintain positive working relationships while delivering consistent HR guidance
Accurately record, track, and monitor casework using case management systems and spreadsheets
Review and update company policies in line with legislative changes and business needs
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Employee Relations team
Stay up to date with current employment legislation and HR best practice
Effectively manage a high-volume workload within a large, fast-paced organisation

Profile

A successful HR Advisor should have:

Previous experience in a similar HR role, ideally within the retail industry.
A strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.
Excellent organisational and administrative skills with great attention to detail.
The ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships.
CIPD qualification or working towards it would be advantageous.Job Offer
