CNC Maintenance Engineer

A role has arisen for an experienced CNC Engineer. The role would suit a CNC Maintenance Engineer or a CNC Service Engineer or CNC machine tool fitter/assembler with electrical knowledge.

Working on brand new CNC machines
No travel
No staying away
38 hours weekThe role involves installing, testing and running up new CNC machines before being shipped to the customer.

The Role

Install CNC machines in factory and showroom
Faultfinding, mechanical and electrical interface work
Carry out test procedures and document findings
Write SOPs
Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 5:00pm
Friday 8:30am - 3:00pmRequirements

Engineering HNC and Modern Apprenticeship
Electrical knowledge
Fault finding, reading engineering drawings
Knowledge of one or more of the following controls: Fanuc / Siemens / Heidenhain
You will likely CNC service engineer, CNC fitter assembler or CNC maintenance engineer or possibly a Programmer if electrical background.
