Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Location: Putney, South West London

Start Date: September 2025/On-going

Salary: £110 - £130 a day - depending on experience

Contract: Full-time, Long-term

Are you an enthusiastic, dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant looking for either further expand your experience or continue providing excellent support for young learners? If so, we are seeking experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistants for an exciting opportunity in an 'Outstanding' graded Secondary School in Putney, West London.

The Role as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant:

* Work as a Teaching Assistant supporting students with their academic, social and emotional development

* Provide 1:1 and small group interventions to pupils and support those with Special Educational Needs

* Assist with lesson preparation, classroom management, and learning resources

* Act as a cover supervisor in the class teacher's absence

* Ensure student welfare and safeguarding is maintained

* Support class teachers and other staff members with behaviour management

* Opportunities to get involved with extracurricular activities including afterschool clubs and school trips

What the School is Looking For:

* Experienced educators with a proven track record supporting young learners in a school setting

* Excellent academic ability with strong results at GCSE and A Level

* Hold the Higher Level Teaching Assistant Qualification (not essential)

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

* Resilient, proactive, and eager to learn in a Higher Level Teaching Assistant role
