We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced CNC Operator based in North Bedfordshire on a full-time permanent basis. 

Summary of the CNC Operator role 

Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 dependent on experience
Location: North Beds 
Type of Contract: Permanent  
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

Responsibilities of the CNC Operator

Prepare and operate CNC machines.
Translate instructions into computer commands.
Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.
Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications.
Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large number of parts.
Inspect and measure final products.
Requirements for a successful CNC Operator

Engineering qualifications or time-served apprenticeship within a relevant role.
Experience using Homag or Holzer CNC machines.
Experience using precision measurement tools.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
CAD/CAM experience.
Strong numeracy skills.
Excellent communication skills.
