Southwest Region - To suit a candidate living on the M4/M5 Corridor. Suitable bases include Bristol, Cardiff, Newport, Swindon, Oxford, Cheltenham, Salisbury, Bournemouth, Devon, Gloucestershire, South Wales, and Wiltshire.

The Company and Role

My client is a well know and industry leading international electrical and Installer of Access Control, IoT, Assisted Living and Health Tech products and services dating back to the late 1800s. Providing the full range of user interface products across multiple industries.

Fuelled by innovation, steady stream of new, high value-added product launches and specialist technological expertise they have experienced continued rapid success and are looking to expand even further. With the average staff tenure being 10+ Years from investment and benefits within their respected roles.

Now looking for a self-driven and highly motivated Field/Home Based Business Development Manager based in the South-West of England to join their professional Sales Division.

The position is a pivotal role within their rapidly growing Assisted living (Group & Council Care Homes) & Health Care Division (NHS, Acute Trusts and Secondary Care Trusts).

What will my responsibilities be?

Maintain existing customer loyalty by providing an excellent Customer Experience.
Identify emerging business and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
Attend and participate in UK trade exhibitions.
Be responsible for your area's development and growth through traditional and evolving multimedia channels.
Provide necessary services to achieve the order; e.g. product/system demonstrations, surveys, quotations, drawings etc.
Achieve set sales targets with maximum available margins.
Maintain all necessary customer, sales activity and sales status information within Salesforce.
Work closely with RSE's and the Internal Sales team to affect the prompt processing of all sales-related tasks.
Attend pre-install meetings with Engineering Contractors and Company Project Managers to assist the smooth running of large installations.

What will I have?

Experience in a Field based role necessary surveying and conducting quotations for customers. Preferably in Health Care, Alarm and Security, Construction or Electrical Products background. Experienced cross-selling across a full portfolio needed.
Experience selling to Care Homes or NHS clients is ideal.
MUST HAVE clean license and willing to travel across region
Excellent customer service/relationship skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to mentor and man-manage others
Ability to negotiate effectively and provide pricing for quotations
Strong business sense and industry expertise
Self-motivated and able to work using own initiative
A team player both confident and professional
Practical and adaptable.
Good standard of personal presentation
