Role: Warehouse Operative

Hours: Monday to Friday - 8am - 4pm /Sunday to Thursday - 8am - 4pm (Shifts may change)

Responsive Personnel are looking for a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for picking, loading, and stacking boxes as well as putting away heavy items using a mobile scanner and pallet trucks.

This is an very active role with heavy lifting.

Duties

• Conduct regular stock checks to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Carefully load, unload, and move heavy goods, including sofas, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Move pallets as required throughout the distribution centre.
• Receive and sort customer returns.
• Pick goods according to order specifications, preparing them for shipment.
• Label goods accurately as required.
• Scan materials into and out of locations in line with company procedures to maintain inventory accuracy.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Able to handle and move heavy goods safely.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
• Good understanding and experience working with warehouse management systems.
• High level of accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Proactive with a flexible approach to work.
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain high standards.
