We are seeking a Science Teacher to join a forward-thinking and innovative science department. This role is ideal for either an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) who has the potential to become an inspirational classroom practitioner. A comprehensive induction programme is in place to support new staff.
Day-to-day of the role: - Deliver engaging and effective lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- Utilise your own laboratory, fully equipped for your specialism, including a laptop and projector.
- Work collaboratively with a supportive science team that boasts a broad range of specialisms.
- Benefit from the assistance of two full-time lab technicians.
- Teach Triple Sciences at KS4 level and the combined science GCSE course to other students.
- Contribute to the department's reputation for being innovative, particularly in implementing Rosenshine's principles in teaching.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Science or related subject.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students in a classroom setting.
- Strong understanding of the science curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
- Experience in managing classroom resources and conducting experiments.
- Capability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Enthusiasm for professional development and continuous learning.
