The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team on a high-profile commercial site in the City of London. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a stable Monday-Friday position within a well-established building services provider that offers overtime, ongoing training, and genuine career progression.

This role is ideal for a mechanically qualified engineer with strong experience in commercial building maintenance environments.

Key Responsibilities

Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs)

*

Reactive maintenance and fault finding across mechanical plant

*

Maintenance and repair of:

*

Pumps and valves

*

Commercial boilers

*

Chillers

*

Heating and cooling systems

*

Fan Coil Units (FCUs)

*

Air Handling Units (AHUs)

*

Monitoring and maintaining water treatment systems

*

Ensuring all statutory compliance tasks are completed

*

Working in line with health & safety procedures

*

Updating maintenance logs and reporting works completed

What We're Looking For

*

Mechanically qualified (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent)

*

Previous experience in commercial building services maintenance

*

Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

*

Experience working on boilers, chillers, and HVAC systems

*

Good understanding of water treatment and plant room environments

*

Reliable, professional, and client-facing
