Altum Consulting are recruiting a Finance Business Partner to join a growing media business based in the heart of Central London. As Finance Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in providing insightful financial analysis and work closely with cross-functional teams to support decision-making, improve processes, and deliver robust forecasting and reporting. This is a high-impact role that requires excellent business acumen.

Role:

  • Monthly Reporting: Prepare and deliver accurate and insightful monthly reporting packs for senior leadership, including variance analysis and commentary.
  • Forecasting & Budgeting: Lead the annual budgeting and reforecasting processes, collaborating with department heads to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across the business, providing financial insights and supporting strategic decision-making.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and impact of financial reporting and planning.
  • Data Management: Leverage your expertise in Excel and Power BI to manage, transform, and analyse large datasets to support business performance monitoring.
  • Performance Analysis: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards and reports to monitor financial and operational performance.
  • Business Partnering: Develop strong relationships with non-financial teams to understand their goals and challenges, helping them to interpret financial data and drive accountability.

About You:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, CA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with post-qualification experience in a management accounting or business partnering role.
  • Proven track record of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong business partnering and communication skills, with the ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
  • Advanced Excel skills and expert-level proficiency in Power BI; comfortable working with large and complex data sets.
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and the ability to translate data into meaningful insight.
  • A proactive self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset.
