Salary: £55000 Dependant on experience plus OTE of £17000 approx with Company car/ Cash Allowance and excellent company benefits

Location: South based, Hybrid

What will you be doing?
  • You will nurture and develop relationships with potential customers, representing the interests of Veolia and promoting the value of our strategic objectives., You will manage the integration of these new customers through their contract implementation, before ensuring a smooth handover to their Account Manager.
  • As Project Manager for all contact tendering exercises, you will act as the point of reference throughout the bid processes, ensuring a full understanding of the customer requirements as part of the Bid/No Bid process and any subsequent commercial decisions.
  • Guide and support the financial modelling and bid team to ensure all submissions are produced correctly and on-time.
  • This is a direct opportunity to define and develop waste strategies/solutions for customers, which promote sustainability and reduced environmental impact, all whilst ensuring they are aligned to their company's sustainability objectives.

What are we looking for?
  • A sound level of financial acumen and bid writing skills are a must - you will be comfortable in identifying business opportunities and be able to develop, manage and nurture business relationships.
  • Excellent communication, presenting and negotiation skills, as well as strong customer focus and a passion for our business purpose.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing business in a competitive market
  • HIgh level of creativity, initiative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and analytically.
  • Self-motivated, results-orient and driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of the waste sector is an advantage, but not essential.
