PW Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Chef to join a friendly, family-run pub based in the Medway Towns. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and capable chef looking for consistent part-time weekend work in a relaxed, supportive environment.

🕒 Working Hours

* Friday & Saturday: 10:00am - 9:00pm (service 12:00pm - 8:00pm, with break between services)

* Sunday: 10:00am - 7:00pm (service 12:00pm - 6:00pm)

* Working days: Friday, Saturday & Sunday only

🍽️ The Role

You will be responsible for running a small kitchen independently, preparing and serving classic pub dishes to a loyal, local customer base.

Duties include:

* Preparing and cooking traditional pub meals

* Managing kitchen service during lunch and dinner periods

* Maintaining cleanliness and food hygiene standards

* Planning and delivering occasional daily specials

* Working closely with front-of-house staff

🍴 Menu Style

* Traditional pub favourites:

* Roast dinners

* Fish & chips

* Pie & mash

* Sausage & mash

* Light lunches including baguettes

* Starters, desserts, and occasional specials

👤 About You

* Previous experience as a chef (pub experience preferred)

* Confident working independently in a small kitchen

* Able to manage service efficiently for up to 50 covers (peak Sundays)

* Passion for producing good-quality, traditional pub food

* Reliable, organised, and able to handle a steady service
