Year 2 Teaching Assistant - WF5 📍 Wakefield | 🗓️ September 2025 Start | 💼 Full-Time | 💰 £93-£105/day (DOE)

We're working with a friendly and inclusive primary school in the WF5 area seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a vibrant Year 2 classroom starting this September. This is a full-time role ideal for someone with a passion for early learning and a proactive, nurturing approach.

What You'll Be Doing:

Supporting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom routines

Leading small group interventions in phonics, reading, and numeracy

Assisting pupils with varying needs, including SEND and EAL learners

Promoting positive behaviour and pupil engagement

Helping prepare resources and maintain a stimulating learning environment

What We're Looking For:

Experience working with KS1 pupils, ideally in Year 2

Level 2 or 3 TA qualification (or equivalent experience)

Strong communication and teamwork skills

A caring, patient, and enthusiastic attitude

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
