We are seeking a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our team in our fantastic and popular primary school. This role is ideal for someone who has experience caring for children aged 2- 5 years and is familiar with the EYFS framework and development matters. The position offers a supportive environment with opportunities for development and progression.
Day-to-day of the role: - Provide care and support to children withing the schools EYFS setting
- Implement continuous provision methods to enhance learning and development according to the EYFS framework.
- Work collaboratively with experienced staff to plan and deliver educational activities.
- Monitor and record children’s progress, adapting learning activities to meet their developmental needs.
- Ensure a safe, nurturing environment for all children.
- Teach and deliver engaging phonics sessions
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Minimum of a Teaching Assistant Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
- Proven experience in caring for children aged 2 - 5 years.
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and development matters.
- Knowledge of continuous provision and its impact on learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent knowledge of SSP and its impact on early reading and writing
- Proactive, hardworking, punctual, and reliable.
