About the Role

We are looking for a Data & AI Scientist to join a high-impact AI innovation program within the financial services sector. You will help design and deliver next-generation Agentic AI solutions powering conversational banking experiences.

Working within a collaborative AI engineering team, you will contribute to building scalable AI systems across Azure and GCP, developing intelligent agents capable of executing tasks, interacting with enterprise systems, and enhancing customer experiences.

This role sits within a cutting-edge Conversational AI lab, focused on developing advanced AI assistants and generative AI capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Design and build Agentic AI workflows across Azure and Google Cloud Platform

*

Contribute to the solution architecture for AI assistants and intelligent agents

*

Develop integration patterns enabling agents to act on customer requests via banking systems

*

Build and optimise LLM-based AI products including:

*

Intelligent conversation summarisation

*

Next-generation generative search experiences

*

Automated evaluation frameworks for conversational AI

*

Develop and deploy production-grade AI solutions rather than prototype notebooks

*

Implement RAG pipelines, prompt engineering strategies, and LLM monitoring frameworks

*

Collaborate within an Agile team delivering scalable AI capabilities

Required Skills

*

2+ years experience in Python

*

Experience building production LLM applications

*

Hands-on experience with Agentic AI frameworks, such as:

*

LangGraph

*

CrewAI

*

ADK

*

Multi-agent architectures

*

Strong AI Engineering background, including:

*

RAG pipelines

*

Prompt engineering

*

LLMOps and runtime monitoring

*

Experience working with Vertex AI

Nice to Have

Knowledge of Responsible AI practices

Experience implementing AI guardrails, ethics, and risk mitigation

Familiarity with Agile / Scrum environments
