Job Title: Lecturer - Plumbing & Gas

Salary: £26,514 - £46,307 per annum (including London Weighting & market supplement)

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging, inclusive teaching across Plumbing & Gas programmes

Develop schemes of work tailored to learners with varying abilities

Use effective assessment strategies to monitor and drive learner progress

Provide constructive feedback to support learner development and independence

Track attendance, progress and achievement, implementing timely interventions

Support learners with barriers to education in an inclusive environment

Contribute to curriculum development aligned to industry needs

Maintain up-to-date knowledge through continuous professional development

Requirements

Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent)

Level 3 CAVA (Assessor qualification)

Gas Safe Registration

IQA Level 4 (desirable)

3-5 years' post-qualification industry experience

Experience teaching in Further Education (ideally apprenticeships)

Strong understanding of apprenticeship delivery and learner support

Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills
