Dee View Care Home offers a unique opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse Manager to lead a well-established, high-performing 44-bed specialist neurological care service.
Located in Aberdeen and set across two floors, Dee View provides expert, person-centred care for individuals with complex neurological conditions within a purpose-built environment designed to promote independence, dignity and quality of life.
With a strong 97% occupancy rate and a history of positive regulatory outcomes (Grades 4s and 5s), the home is well-positioned. The next phase focuses on strengthening the team, maintaining compliance excellence and continuing to enhance its reputation as a specialist centre of care.
This is a role for a proven leader ready to take ownership, build on strong foundations and deliver the next level of performance.
Contract
- £75,000 per annum
- Bonus up to 40% (KPI linked)

The Role
As Home Manager, you will have full accountability for the performance, quality and culture of Dee View Care Home.
Your focus will be on maintaining exceptional clinical standards within a specialist neurological setting, while continuing to build a stable, skilled and engaged workforce. You will ensure the home remains compliant and inspection-ready, with particular focus on upcoming Care Inspectorate (CI) and HSCP inspections.
You will also play a key role in strengthening relationships with families, regulators and external professionals, ensuring Dee View continues to be recognised as a trusted and high-quality care provider.
Success will be measured through sustained high occupancy, strong inspection outcomes, team stability and consistent delivery of outstanding care.
About You
You are an experienced and driven Registered Nurse (RGN) with an active NMC PIN, bringing a minimum of five years' Home Manager experience within a similar-sized or specialist service.
You will demonstrate:
- A strong track record of positive inspection outcomes and/or service turnaround
- Proven leadership and team development capability
- Commercial awareness, including occupancy management and budget oversight
- Confidence in stakeholder engagement, including regulators, families and external partners
You are a visible, hands-on leader who leads with clarity and integrity. Your leadership style is open, transparent and knowledgeable, building trust across your team and driving alignment across the service.
