A leading Property & Real Estate Consultancy are currently on the lookout for an experienced Energy Expert to join their dynamic and expanding Infrastructure & Energy team, based in the West Yorkshire area .This role offers a stimulating and diverse range of responsibilities, perfect for a proactive individual with robust negotiation skills and comprehensive industry knowledge. The position involves leading the identification, negotiation, acquisition, and development of energy projects across the UK.

Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying sites, landowners, and infrastructure routes.
- Screening potential energy development sites and advising on opportunities.
- Conducting grid connection screening and providing advisory services.
- Preparing feasibility studies and options appraisals.
- Managing stakeholder relationships and coordinating planning applications.
- Drafting and negotiating heads of terms, and option & lease agreements.
- Managing and coaching junior team members.
- Attending industry events and drafting press articles and publications to promote and develop business.

To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience advising and managing clients across multiple projects.
- A thorough understanding of energy technologies and the associated technical and environmental constraints.
- Proven negotiation experience with landowners and developers.
- Excellent project management and people management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Effective leadership and line management abilities.
- A full, clean driving licence.
