Senior Project Manager

Due to company growth/expansion Vital Energi Ltd are looking for a Senior Project Manager to work in the Northwest and Yorkshire areas.

As a Senior Project Manager your job is to Plan, execute, and finalise projects within strict deadlines and budget. Acquire resources and coordinate the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. Define the project's objectives and oversee quality control through its life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage all aspects of the contract(s) with the aid of Project Managers, Project Engineers, Quantity

* Surveyors and Planning Manager

* Attend pre-contract meetings in conjunction with senior commercial staff

* Attend site meetings and produce contract status reports

* Work closely with the client to further develop and promote the company, engage with potential clients to build relationships, and work as a key member of the bid team.

* Approve and maintain construction programmes.

* Secure labour and sub-contractors for the project

* Review systems and methods when required to improve contract performance produce health and safety plans with overall responsibility for site health and safety

* Promote and comply with the Company's policies on equality and health and safety both in the delivery of service and the treatment of others.

* Engage with your manager in reviewing your performance and planning your development.

* Carry out other duties consistent with the nature, responsibilities and seniority of your post.

* Supervise, train, plan, organise, schedule, assign, review and evaluate the work of staff

Education:

HND qualification (or equivalent) in an engineering subject essential

Qualifications:

Health & Safety Qualification such as SMSTS, Nebosh etc. desirable
