I am working with a reputable building envelope contractor seeking an Estimator to join their commercial team due to sustained growth.
They are open to:

An experienced façade / cladding estimator
OR
*
A candidate with transferable estimating experience from a related construction discipline who can be developed
The Role
You will be responsible for:
*
Preparing detailed cost estimates for façade and remediation projects
*
Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical documents
*
Producing take-offs and BOQs
*
Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations
*
Supporting tender submissions
*
Working closely with technical and delivery teams
For experienced façade estimators, there may be flexibility on hybrid working. For developing candidates, this role will require full-time office attendance initially.
Ideal Background (Option 1 - Experienced)
*
Proven estimating experience within cladding / EWI / façade systems
*
Strong knowledge of remediation projects
*
Ability to price complex envelope packages
*
Understanding of fire compliance upgrades
Ideal Background (Option 2 - Transferable Skills)
*
Estimating background in roofing, drylining, curtain walling, external works or similar
*
Strong numerical and commercial acumen
*
Keen to specialise in façade remediation
