A high achieving Secondary School in the London Borough of Redbridge are looking to recruit a Graduate Teaching Assistant to start in September 2025.

This large secondary school based in the heard of Redbridge is currently looking to recruit a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025. The Head Teacher, together with her dedicated Senior Leadership Team work hard to provide an excellent education for all pupils who join their thriving institution. They are ambitious for their students, setting high aspirations in all that they do. They do what they can to ensure all students achieve the best results possible, have opportunities to develop their talents and aptitudes, and become confident young people who will confidently approach the challenges that will face them in the world today. They have a very successful sixth form, with many students opting to stay at the school to complete their A-Levels.

Their most recent Ofsted states 'The headteachers purposeful leadership has energised leaders throughout the school. Pupils' behaviour is consistently good in lessons and around school. They are respectful of others and contribute positively to the schools work and culture.'

Graduate Teaching Assistant

As well as joining a very successful school, you will also become part of a fantastic department. You will be working alongside a very supportive team who work very hard to ensure that each and every student is encouraged to reach their individual potential. You will be required to provide support, at an outstanding level, for pupils, teachers and the school in order to raise standards of achievement for all pupils. You will be working with a group of children across all subject areas. You will have the opportunity work very closely with the SENDCO and class teachers to ensure that all children are given the required support to ensure they are reaching their individual goals. The school are looking for a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025, covering a range of subject areas. They would require you to be able to commit for the full academic year. The school are looking for candidates who are looking to gain class-based experience before going on to do your teacher training.

The right applicant for this Graduate Teaching Assistant position will:

Be Degree qualified
Be keen to go on to complete your teaching qualification
Have a passion for helping young people excel
Have experience working with secondary school aged students (Preferable)
