I am looking for a Highway Operative to work on behalf of the council in the Gateshead area.

The successful candidate will be assisting with pot hole repairs, manhole raising and surface dressing processes, laying flags, kerbing as well as other highway maintenance work

In additon to this, you will also need to have experience of street furniture or mason work.

The Highway operative will receive:

Up to £15 - £16 P/H
Guaranteed long-term work
The successful candidate will be expected to complete:

All highway maintenance work to a high standard
7:30AM - 4:00PM, Monday to Friday - 39 hours per week.Requirements:
