Warehouse Operative – Freezer Picker and Packer

People Solutions are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join our well-established client based in Nuneaton. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and great opportunities for progression within a supportive logistics environment.

Shifts

• 4 on 4 off – Days: 07:00 – 19:00
• 4 on 4 off – Nights: 19:00 – 07:00

Rates of Pay

• Days: £13.05 per hour (pay rise in January)
• Nights: £15.25 per hour (pay rise in January)

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Picking frozen food items using voice pick technology in -21°C conditions
• Operating Forklift Trucks (Reach and Counterbalance) safely and efficiently
• Moving, sorting, and organising stock within the warehouse
• Wrapping and securing completed pallets for despatch
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures at all times
• Performing additional warehouse duties as required

Essential Skills

To be successful as a Warehouse Operative, you will need:

• Previous experience working in a freezer environment
• Voice pick and system picking experience
• MHE experience (PPT, Reach, or Counterbalance)
• Good level of spoken and written English
• Reliability and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Previous 4 on 4 off and/or night shift experience (preferred)

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience in a freezer or chilled warehouse environment

Training Provided

• Full industry-related training and ongoing support will be provided throughout your assignment.
