NDT Supervisor

Salary: £52,500 - £55,000 per annum
Location: Based near Stadhampton, Oxfordshire (20 mins from oxford)
Hours: Monday to Friday, with lunchtime Friday finish (37 hours)

NDT Supervisor Benefits
Lead and develop a team of up to 15 specialists

NDT Supervisor Duties
Managing day-to-day operations of the NDT and marking departments

Attending daily production meetings and setting clear staff priorities

Monitoring team KPIs and ensuring compliance with all safety protocols

Overseeing radiographic testing operations (RT Level 3 responsibilities if qualified)

Training and developing new and existing staff on methods and compliance

Supporting continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives

NDT Supervisor Profile
Strong supervisory experience in a regulated manufacturing environment

Hands-on knowledge of NDT (ideally radiography) in a production setting

Understanding of lean tools such as TQM, SPC, MRP, or Value Stream Mapping

A Level 3 RT qualification (ASNT/NAS410/EN4179) - highly desirable

NVQ4, HNC, or equivalent in engineering

Clear, confident communication and team leadership skills
