Simply Education is currently seeking a patient, flexible, and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils within a mainstream primary school in Grantham. This day-to-day supply role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a real difference in children's educational experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with special educational needs (SEN) in a mainstream classroom.

Assist the class teacher with adapting learning resources and activities to suit individual pupil needs.

Help manage behaviour and promote a calm, inclusive classroom environment.

Support pupils with a range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.

Monitor progress and feedback to the class teacher.

Encourage pupil independence and boost confidence through positive reinforcement.

Contribute to daily routines and the overall smooth running of the classroom.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Experience working with children with SEN in a school or care setting.

A caring, calm, and patient approach to supporting individual needs.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Confidence to work independently and adapt to different classroom environments.

A genuine interest in supporting children's development and wellbeing.

A flexible attitude and availability for day-to-day cover work.
