Child Protection Lawyer

Rate: £50-£60 per hour - Negotiable DOE
Contract Length: 6-9-month initial contract
Southwest Local Authority
Hybrid & Remote Working Available

Key Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of child protection and safeguarding matters.
Conduct advocacy in the Family Court on behalf of the Council.
Advise on and handle:
Care and supervision proceedings
Pre-proceedings and PLO matters
Deprivation of Liberty and Secure Accommodation orders
Adoption and placement orders

About You

Be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Chartered Legal Executive.
Have strong experience in Child Protection / Public Children Law.
Demonstrate experience of advocacy and court representation.
