About the Role

As a Trainee Accounts Assistant, you'll play an important role in preparing pension scheme accounts and supporting the accounting services for a diverse client portfolio. Based in the Winchester office—with occasional travel to the London office—you'll collaborate with team members and auditors to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare Pension Scheme Trustee Reports and Accounts within required timescales

*

Reconcile investment and AVC accounts with supporting working papers

*

Manage and liaise with auditors throughout the audit process

*

Attend client and auditor meetings where required

*

Assist with ad-hoc projects and contribute to team knowledge-building initiatives

*

Progress toward supporting review and quality-checking tasks as your experience grows
