RGN Job Description

The specific duties of a registered general nurse include:

• patient assessment: registered general nurses assess patients' health conditions, taking vital signs and asking about symptoms. You use this information to develop care plans or refer patients to appropriate specialists.
• administering treatments and medications: registered general nurses are responsible for giving medications, administering treatments and monitoring their effects. You ensure the correct doses are given at the right times.
• wound care: registered general nurses often take care of patients with wounds. You clean, dress, and monitor the healing process, ensuring patients are comfortable and avoiding infection.

To ensure success you will guide patients through the healthcare system and cultivate relationships with healthcare providers. Top candidates have the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment and have excellent negotiation skills.

RGN Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• 1+ years of work experience in public health or related field.
• Proficient with Healthcare Management Systems and Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Mandatory trainings along with medication trainings
