Finance Manager - Hybrid (minimum 3 days office based)

We are recruiting for a Finance Manager to join our north Hereford based client on a full time, permanent basis. As part of a values driven business, the successful candidate will be expected to approach their duties with collaboration, transparency, and shared success at the forefront.

Offering hybrid working with minimum 3 days office based, this is an opportunity for an experienced finance professional to optimise established systems while having the scope and support to develop and integrate new financial processes to improve efficiency across the organisation.

What you can expect:

Salary: up to £55,000, depending on experience

*

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm with an hour for lunch (35 hour working week)

*

23days plus bank holidays plus Christmas shutdown days (equates to an 4/5 extra annual leave days per year)

Hybrid working

5% pension company contribution

What you will be doing:

*

Manage all aspects of financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting

*

Analyse current workflows and recommend improvements to boost efficiency and reduce waste

*

Line management of the finance and sales office team

*

Lead the review and potential upgrade of IT systems within a 12-18month timeframe

*

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and cooperative governance standards

*

Provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making and long-term planning

*

Build strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and cooperative members

What we are looking for:

*

Ideally a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), highly experienced candidates without formal qualifications are encouraged to apply

*

Extensive experience in financial management

*

Familiarity with IT systems and finance software e.g., Sage

*

Strong understanding of business process optimisation and change management

*

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

*

A collaborative mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
