Venn Group is currently looking to recruit for a Financial Accountant, working within a leading housing association based in London. The salary on offer is £50,000-£55,000 and is an ideal position for an experienced candidate who is ready to hit the ground running. This is a key role to support and strengthen the finance function and an exciting opportunity to further your career.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and supported schedules and notes and make recommendations on disclosure requirements
• Prepare audit files and work with auditors to resolve queries and finalise audit plans
• Deliver full set of statutory accounts with notes together with supported schedules for external auditors
• Review trial balance and check all monthly and year end reconciled schedules
• Update reports and reconciled balance sheet including verifying the stock valuations and depreciation of assets

Requirements

• Fully Qualified Accountant
• Experience of working in the housing sector
