Are you a dedicated SEND Teacher looking for a rewarding role in Mansfield and/or the surrounding areas?

Provide Education—a local specialist recruitment agency—is partnering with specialist SEN schools to appoint an inspirational SEND Teacher to join their teams.

About the Role

* Plan and deliver differentiated lessons for pupils with a range of special educational needs (ASD, SEMH, MLD, PMLD)

* Support pupils in Key Stages 1-4 with bespoke, sensory-aware, and communication-focused teaching strategies

* Collaborate with SENCOs, therapists, and support staff to implement and monitor EHCP targets

* Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes independence and confidence

* Track pupil progress, provide constructive feedback, and report on educational outcomes

Ideal Candidate Profile

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (essential)

* Proven experience teaching in an SEN or specialist setting

* Knowledge of alternative communication methods (e.g., Makaton, PECS) and sensory integration strategies

* Strong behaviour-management skills and a calm, resilient approach

* Child & Adult DBS check (or willing to apply for)
