SEND Teaching Assistant - SK7, Stockport - September 2025 Start

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a welcoming Primary School in the SK7 area of Stockport, who are seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025.

This full-time, long-term role will involve working 1:1 with a child in KS2, providing tailored support to help them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Role Responsibilities:

Provide personalised 1:1 support for a KS2 child with Special Educational Needs

Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement strategies and individual learning plans

Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour

Support both in the classroom and during targeted interventions

What We're Looking For:

Experience working with children with SEND (essential)

A patient, caring, and resilient approach

A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred but not essential)
