Position: Economics and Business Studies Teacher 

Location: Islington 

Start date: December 2025/January 2026

The role: 

Teach Economics at KS5 within a popular and high-performing sixth form

Deliver Business BTEC to KS4/KS5 learners, ensuring strong vocational progression

Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that inspire a love of the subject

Contribute to departmental planning, assessment, and enrichment activities

Full-time role available for immediate start

The Ideal Candidate: 

A qualified Business or Economics Teacher (QTS/QTLS)

Confident delivering KS5 Economics and Business BTEC

Strong subject knowledge with the ability to motivate and stretch learners

Effective classroom practitioner with strong behaviour management

Open to both experienced teachers and confident ECTs
