Are you an experienced and motivated educator ready to guide pupils through one of the most important years of their primary journey?

We are looking for an outstanding Year 6 teacher who can inspire confidence, build resilience, and prepare children for the transition to secondary school. This Year 6 teacher position is long term starting in September for at least two terms with a view of a direct contract.

This is a very welcoming school based in Wakefield with supportive SLT and as a year 6 teacher you will be expected to follow the ethos and values of the school. They believe in positive rereinforcements to get the best out of their pupils.

As a year 6 teacher you must:

Hold QTS or equivalent, with a proven track record in Key Stage 2 teaching
Be flexible and adaptable
Think on your feet
Be reliable with good time keeping
Possess strong classroom management
