My client is a well-established leader in Mechanical and Electrical contracting, is seeking a Junior M&E Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team based in Cannock. With a diverse portfolio spanning commercial, healthcare, and leisure sectors, our projects range in size from £100k to £4m. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual with QS qualifications to contribute to and grow within our successful and expanding organization.

Key Responsibilities:

* Work alongside senior QS professionals to support in all aspects of Quantity Surveying.

* Assist in the preparation of estimates, budgets, and cost plans.

* Contribute to the procurement process, including subcontractor packages.

* Monitor and manage project costs, ensuring adherence to budgets.

* Collaborate with project teams to assess and negotiate variations.

* Prepare and submit valuations and final accounts.

Qualifications and Skills:

* Qualified in Quantity Surveying (QS) or related field.

* Strong analytical and numerical skills.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work well within a team.

* Attention to detail and accuracy.

* Knowledge of M&E contracting processes (desirable but not essential).

Experience:

* Graduate-level experience not required; however, QS qualifications are essential.

* Willingness to learn and develop within the role.

* Ability to manage tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
